Louise elected to sit on the Culture, Olympics, Media & Sport Select Committee

Today, the results of the election of Conservative members of Parliamentary Select Committees were announced. Louise Bagshawe was selected as one of four Conservative Members of the Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport Select Committee, which is chaired by John Whittingdale MP.
Louise Bagshawe said:
“I’m delighted and very grateful that my colleagues in Parliament have elected me to the Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport Select Committee. The creative arts and industries are Britain’s second largest industrial sector after the financial services sector. My life’s work has been in the creative arts and protecting and promoting the industry is a passion of mine. I look forward to serving on the committee.”
